In addition to Apple Stores equipped with theaters (see our earlier story), there’s a growing list of locations to watch Monday’s WWDC keynote. MacNN lists UW Madison, University of Michigan, SIGMAC at Case Western, University of Central Florida, Ohio University Athens, University of Minnesota Twin Cities, Winona State, and Minnesota State Moorhead. (Thanks, Richard.) MacMinute has a list of 20 universities, but the page wasn’t loading at press time.
Here are some exclusives of our own: MyMacDealer in Calgary, Alberta has a brand new satellite dish and will be showing the event live (call for seating availability). Western Illinois University in Macomb, Illinois will be broadcasting in Horrabin Hall Room 53. (Thanks, Brian Frost.) Haddock Computer Center will have a feed at both their Witchita, KS, and Oklahoma City, OK retail locations, or in Iowa you can check it out at either University of Iowa or Iowa State University. Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA will have their feed in the Stern Center, room 103. (Thanks, Dan Buchan.)
Lastly, our friends at MacMerc will have a play-by-play there, perfect if you’re stuck at work (and weren’t able to convince your boss you have to leave for religious reasons, as Joy of Tech suggested in 2001). As long as their server stays up, Jonathan Gales will have his coverage going.
And if you manage to miss all of that, there will be a replay webcast from Apple in QuickTime MPEG-4. Just try not to tune in here if you want to be surprised.
