As nifty as it is to run Windows 11 on an Apple Silicon Mac, it gets expensive between paying for Parallels Desktop’s licensing fee and Windows 11’s licensing fee.
As such, the cool cats at Lifehacker and 9to5Mac have put together some excellent workaround guides to allow you to run Windows 11 for free using either the VMware Fusion Play or the ARM ISO from Parallels Desktop for Mac.
The link below details the step-by-step process and gets a bit technical, but definitely isn’t impossible, and the end result of Windows 11 on Apple’s speedy new hardware is outstanding.
