A perceptive reader sent in the following information:
You’ve already reported this but i don’t know if you’ve got any picture. A thousand (at first) of these ugly displays are going to equip post offices in France. It’s a pay internet access terminal and, as you can see it, trapped inside is a happy(?) iMac. You insert your pay card (like the ones for pay phones) in the slot just above the keyboard and here you go. They’ve included some sort of USB floppy or zip (it’s difficult to see) so i suppose you can save some files and you can print as well (the paper goes out from the large slot at the bottom of the display).
