The largest Apple trade show in Europe runs from 12-16 September, 2006 but neither Steve Jobs nor Apple will be making a keynote address at Apple-Expo in Paris next month.
Some are reading too much into the decision claiming that the no-show is a snub of the French government for attempting to force Apple to open iTunes DRM or even that Jobs’ health may be a factor. A more likely explanation is that Apple just announced a bunch of new products at WWDC and there simply isn’t any real reason for Steve to go.
