The monumental T-Mobile/Sprint merger deal, which received approval from the Department of Justice back in July, received the official go-ahead from the FCC on Tuesday. Signs are now pointing to the deal being all but sealed, with only a single roadblock to overcome.
The merger faces a final challenge in the form of state attorneys general. Both wireless companies have also stated they won’t finalize the merger until ongoing legal conflicts between the respective companies have been resolved.
