It’s competition that makes life interesting.
Wireless carrier T-Mobile is responding to Verizon’s “Never Settle” ad campaign, which offers to lend Verizon customers a new smartphone and port their existing number to it for a 14-day trial. If customers prefer T-Mobile’s service, the company will pay off Verizon’s Early Termination Fees up to a maximum of US$650.
T-Mobile is also offering to settle any outstanding payments on your phone within the US$650 limit when customers go with T-Mobile’s Simple Choice plan.
T-Mobile has stated that customers can keep their current phone and that the company will refund any fees incurred on its own network and will pay any costs should you decide to switch back to Verizon.
The offer begins on May 13th and runs until May 31st and details can be located at the t-mobile.com web site or one of the carrier’s retail stores. The move marks the most recent offer between the two companies, which have recently offered incentives to attract new customers.
