The iPhone 17 could see significant new changes and features, and all you have to do is wait 14 months to get your hands on one.
Per a post on Medium by noted supply chain analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the iPhone 17 is expected to be equipped with a 6.6-inch display with a current-size Dynamic Island, a standard A19 chip rather than an A19 Pro chip, a single rear camera, and an Apple-designed 5G chip. Kuo also stated that expects the device to have a titanium-aluminum frame, but with a lower percentage of titanium than used for iPhone 15 Pro models.
Kuo added that there might not be an iPhone 17 Plus model and that there could be a new ultra-thin model. This new model’s main selling point could be its “new design” rather than its specs.
This new, thinner model might not be the rumored “iPhone 17 Ultra” that’s been discussed recently, and could still feature some impressive specifications, but it might not be the flagship model that’s been rumored over the past several days.
Apple is expected to announce the iPhone 17 series in September 2025. Stay tuned for additional details as they become available.
