The rumor mill has spoken, and it has indicated that Apple could be releasing two Apple Silicon-based MacBook Pros and a MacBook Air as the centerpiece of its “One More thing” virtual event, which is set to take place on November 10, 2020.
Per Bloomberg News, this may be all all that’s revealed:
Apple and overseas suppliers are ramping up production of three Mac laptops with Apple processors: new 13-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros and a new 13-inch MacBook Air.
It’s been said that Apple supplier Foxconn is assembling the two 13-inch notebooks while Quanta Computer is building the new 16-inch MacBook Air.
The Apple silicon processors are reportedly based on the A14 chip that appears in the latest iPhones and iPad Air. Tests are said to have revealed improved power efficiency when compared to the outgoing Intel parts.
Apple is also said to be working on a new Augmented Reality tool that users can access by tapping on the event page of an iPhone or iPad.
Other rumors have indicated that Apple is planning a release date for its macOS Big Sur operating system as well as
upgraded AirPods, AirPods Pro, and the much-discussed AirPod Studio over-ear headphones.
Stay tuned for additional details as they become available.
