You might have to wait a little bit longer for the rumored 12.9-inch iPad.
Specifically, you might have to wait until early 2015.
Per iMore and the Wall Street Journal, a new report suggests meeting demand for the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus is Apple’s priority right now.
“The top priority for the supply chain is to meet the overwhelming demand for the larger screen iPhones. The output of the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus remains unsatisfactory,” said a person at a supplier. “It would be challenging for display makers to split resources and spend a few months to ramp up production for a new larger screen iPad now.”
An iPad Pro at 12.9-inches would likely be more of a niche product, aimed at power users and creative professionals, though larger phone sizes could also drive other customers towards larger iPads. With a big phone you might not need to carry a small tablet with you, and be able to enjoy a bigger tablet at home or at work.
Apple is expected to officially reveal new versions of its current iPads, along with new Mac, at at an October special event to be held at its Cupertino, California headquarters on the 16th.
Stay tuned for additional details as they become available.

Ugh. How many times have we heard rumors of delays in this Apple product or that Apple product? The iPhone 6/6+ was rumored to be delayed until late November. Nope! Launched right on time. And considering that Apple never even released a date for the iPad Pro, how can it be delayed??
