If you’re in the Czech Republic and have been hankering for Apple Pay, it looks like it’ll launch next Tuesday.
According to local media report, a number of local financial institutions are pointed to launch the service.
Apple Pay will go live in the Czech Republic at 6 am local time on February 19th, according to local news outlets on Wednesday. There had previously been rumors the service was coming to the country in late-February/early-March.
The financial institutions said to be backing the launch include Air Bank, Ceska sporitelna, Komercni bank, Monet, mBank, and Twisto. Others, such as CSOB, are expected to become part of Apple Pay later in 2019.
Stay tuned for additional details as they become available.
