I don’t know what it is about bags, but I dig ’em. My latest fetish is The Complete Seed from Crumpler. It’s an A3 bag with six pockets, a killer padded shoulder strap and a third leg. All your bags are belong to us.
Make no mistake about it, The Complete Seed is a true messenger bag. It’s made to be slung over a shoulder and carried anywhere – preferably by bicycle. It’s a little larger and will hold anything from several bagged tropical fish to a large FedEx tube and your gym clothes. If you’re used to a boxy square computer bag, then this will be a departure – but it will be a good departure.
The Complete Seed is a free-form messenger without a rigid structure, so you’ll need a laptop sleeve if you’re going to be toting your expensive PowerBook or iBook in it. The Crumpy kids offer three types of laptop sleeves:
1. McBains Baby in 3 sizes – 12″, 15″ + 17″
2. Skivvy in 3 sizes – 12″, 15″ + 17″
Both feature a removable shoulder strap, carry handle and zip pocket
3. School Hymn in 3 sizes – their hard case
Once you get over the fact that The Complete Seed is different, you won’t look back! Crumpler sacks have a sense of style like no other bag. Resist the urge to carry around a dark nondescript computer bag and add some color to your summer wardrobe.
