The Fusion Flex is a departure from previous Brenthaven bags which are sleek, black and professional. The kind of bag that you would bring to meet with your most conservative customer. The Fusion Flex messenger bag is the same high quality piece of luggage that you’d expect out of Brenthaven with some new features and a dash of color. The Fusion Flex comes in a cool black/olive/khaki color combination and fits portables from 12 to 15-inches.
The Fusion Flex has ample pockets for AC adapters, cables, mice and all the other gear you need to take with you and it features a light colored interior. The light interior makes a hug difference when rifling through your bag at night or in dark places and I wish all bag manufacturers would do it. The Fusion Flex’s notebook compartment is adjustable to provide maximum protection for your PowerBook.
Another smart feature is the external iPod pocket, which makes one-handed access easy. The shoulder strap implementation is different than other bags you’re probably used to: both ends of the strap attach to the rear of the bag – instead of the ends. Like most bags it could probably be a tad bigger, but then again, it’s better that it’s not. Bigger bags simply attract more junk and have a tendency to magically fill up.
