After a fairly long hiatus, the PowerPage forums have officially returned and are up and running.
Once again, you can discuss all things Apple, Mac, portable, software, iBook, iPod, iPhone, hardware, mods, hacks, fixes, workarounds, opinions and whatever else is on your mind. The forum also features a buy and sell section as well as a stolen laptop registry where you can submit the information for a stolen Mac laptop that might have gone missing and hopefully the PowerPage community will be able to help out.
If you’re going to participate, there are a few rules to follow. PowerPage has existed as a community for 12 years now and is based on an interest in the Mac, mobile technologies and where all this is headed. You guys have always piped up with a comment, idea, suggestion or opinion and that’s kept things going. Still, it only takes a few jerks to ruin a conversation, so be warned that the forums will be monitored and anything severely off-topic, insulting to another user or smacking of spam will receive no more than one warning before being banned.
The goal isn’t to establish anything authoritarian or too tightly controlled, but something that can be participated in and enjoyed by everyone as well as serve as a great resource created by a community that’s interested in something and has suggestions as to how to make a good thing better.
So, without further ado, the forums are open and waiting.
Have at it.
