On Saturday, Microsoft released version 6.2 of their drivers for their IntelliType keyboards and IntelliType mice. The drivers, a 6.9 megabyte download (courtesy of VersionTracker).
The new version enables features such as button and keyboard customization as well as access to battery status and requires Mac OS X 10.2 or later to run. The drivers are programmed as a Universal Binary and function at native speeds on both PowerPC and Intel-based hardware.
So far the update’s gone smoothly on this end, but if you’ve tried the new version and had a memorable user experience (either positive or negative), let us know.
