Stay away from this update! If it does improve the sync efficiency, great, however with all of the other bugs it adds to Outlook. It has caused issues in Outlook of not being able to see new emails without closing/reopening, losing the ability at times to drag/drop emails into folders, etc. I am praying that Microsoft will get a fix out soon and listen to those that have already sent direct feedback of the issues (there are a lot of unhappy users out there.
On a positive note, I have seen that I’m no longer having Excel close issues that I was periodically having before the update.
