A newly leaked image of a purported series of iPhone 13 front glass panels could indicate a thinner, redesigned notch on the upcoming smartphone.
According to Greek technology repair company iRepair, the company has claimed it has obtained the front glass panels for the iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max. The images clearly show iPhone front glass panels in three different sizes, each of which features a smaller notch.
The image also highlights that the earpiece has been moved above the notch and into the top bezel. Such as design change was rumored last year regarding the iPhone 12 lineup, but did not come to pass. Instead, the iPhone 12 features the same notch design as the iPhone X, iPhone XS, and iPhone 11.
Additional rumors have stated that evidence is mounting that the iPhone 13 will feature a smaller notch, and noted Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo reported earlier this month that the iPhone 13 series will feature a smaller notch as one of the “main hardware specification changes.”
Stay tuned for additional details as they become available.
