This could be a bit more telling than Apple wants it to be. A sign for the rumored iPhone 9/SE 2 has been spotted on a poster in South Korea. The device is being advertised outside a Korean Telecom’s store, alongside advertising for the Samsung Galaxy S20 handset.
The Korean Telecom’s store had, in fact, begun accepting pre-orders for the iPhone 9 and the Samsung Galaxy S20.
While this should definitely be taken with a grain of salt, Apple is expected to unveil a new, low-cost iPhone handset this year. The device is thought to feature 3GB of RAM, 64 to 128GB of memory, Touch ID, and feature a smaller form factor similar to the iPhone 8. Apple has yet to confirm such a device, but Korea Telecom might have a bead on things that others aren’t yet privy to.
Stay tuned for additional details as they become available.
