Griffin’s US$35 iTrip remains the best FM transmitter for iPods on the market because of its flexibility in broadcasting to different FM frequencies. The iTrip allows you to broadcast your iPod’s music to nearby stereos, in a car or anywhere else; competitive products don’t work well because they have a fixed number of frequencies to which they can broadcast. This week Griffin made the iTrip work even better by releasing OS X Station Finder software to look up available frequencies in 240 U.S. cities. Now all we’re waiting for is the iTrip for the newest generation of iPods, which Griffin says is shipping soon — preorder available.
