Gosh, I love this time of year.
It’s time to be with your family, copious amounts of eating, football and crazy deals on stuff. While everyone’s hunting for that amazing deal on Black Friday (just say no to Thursday shopping though, please) but there’s one deal in particular that I wait for each November: 20 percent off iTunes gift cards.
It should be obvious, but the benefits to iTunes gift cards are that they can be loaded onto your iTunes account and used for everything from apps, to music, to movies, to TV show, and the list goes on.
I spend about $500 per year on iTunes/App Store content, and it rarely goes on sale, so I stock up on enough iTunes gift cards to get me through the year each November during the gift card sale.
How much do you spend annually in iTunes?
Find out how to get 20 percent off iTunes gift cards after the jump…
After missing out on the brief deal that PayPal was offering on eBay (and living too far away from Sam’s Club to take advantage of their 20 percent offer) I was thrilled to discover this 20 percent discount on iTunes gift cards at Costco. (Hat tip to Twitter follower Mark Siple for the intel).
It works like this: Costco is offering a $15 manufacturer’s discount on its $100 iTunes gift card multipack, which is comprised of four $25 cards. Costco normally sells the $100 multipack for $94.49, so with the $15 discount your net price is $74.49 for $100 worth of gift cards – or a little more than 20 percent off.
Some caveats: you need to be a Costco member (memberships start at $55 annually) and the offer is only available through 12/1/14 or while supplies last. There are a limited amount of these deals and I fully expect them to sell out, so you should place your order now if you want to take advantage.
The good: Costco delivers, so that you don’t have to venture into the meatspace to get the deal, and although the deal is limited to three multipacks, you can place multiple orders (cough) on the same Costco membership number.
As I mentioned above, Sam’s Club has a similar deal starting on November 27, 2014, and others will be sure to follow/match. In previous years I’ve seen 20 percent off iTunes cards at office supply stores (OfficeDepot/OfficeMax, Staples) and Bed, Bath and Beyond, so keep your eyes open and add your finds to the comments and Tweet me directly @jasonogrady with your best deals.
What iTunes gift card deals have you found?

I’d REALLY love THAT! But I think you meant “20 percent OFF everything,” Jason.
