If you’re a CorelDRAW fan, this is pretty nifty.
CorelDRAW has been updated with both added support for M1-based Macs as well as a new iPad app.
The macOS version is built to take advantage of the Apple Silicon hardware, with benchmark testing that compares it to an Intel-based MacBook Air 2019 to a 2020 M1-based MacBook Air showing improvements across the board, most scenarios demonstrating a minimum 2x speed improvement on the M1 system. Some tests were dramatically higher, including an image resampling scenario that produced speed results more than 20x faster.
CorelDRAW for macOS retails for roughly $499 as a one-time purchase or $249 under the subscription plan and requires macOS 10.12 Sierra or later to install and run.
If you’ve had a chance to try the new CorelDRAW app for macOS, please let us know about your experience in the comments.
