An AsiaBizTech article reveals that Bandai Co., Ltd., the company to which Apple spun the infamous Pippin (check out the old-school PowerPage look), plans to sell a new mobile internet access kit. Called “WonderGate”, the kit will contain email and Web software designed for Bandai’s WonderSwan (mobile gaming machine), in addition to the cables necessary to connect it to a personal digital cellular (PDC) phone. Suggested retail price: approximately US$39.30.
