Once again, Apple’s iPhone battery replacement program is slated to end on December 31st.
Following the revelation that older iPhone batteries had been throttled, Apple created a battery replacement program for customers.
The program allowed customers a battery replacement on iPhone 6 or later models, thereby lowering the consumer cost to $29 for a qualifying replacement battery
In the case of an iPhone X, XS, XS Max, or XR handset, the replacement battery will run you $69.
You can check your iPhone battery health by going to Settings > Battery > Battery Health. If your battery has problems then you’ll see a warning message in this section. To get started on a battery replacement, visit Apple’s support page.
