You probably shouldn’t do this.
Especially not with a US$10,000 Apple Watch Edition, which is insanely expensive.
And made of gold.
The guys at TechRax (the same gents who brought you a video demonstrating what happens if you shoot an iPhone 6 with a handgun) have posted a video demonstrating what happens when an Apple Watch Edition is crushed between two neodymium magnets and 650 pounds of force in the process.
It’s an impressive video and the Apple Watch Edition actually holds up pretty well, the outer screen shattering and the gold taking some scratches. Despite the damage, it still manages to charge after being crushed, making it one tough little hombre.
Take a gander, let us know what you think and please don’t go crushing your Apple Watch Edition between two large neodymium magnets any time soon.
