If you’re fully vaccinated, you don’t need to wear a mask while visiting an Apple Store location.
The requirement for Apple Store staff to wear a mask is being dropped, following the recent decision to no longer require fully vaccinated customers to wear a face covering.
The change was noted by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, and a sign seen outside an unspecified retail location states that face masks are “are optional for fully vaccinated customers.” The sign also makes clear occupancy remains limited with physical distancing expected.
It’s unknown as to whether staff must be fully vaccinated in order to not wear a mask. Local laws and requirements continue to dictate how the policy is implemented.
