Today Apple quietly speed-bumped all iBooks to 900MHz (G3) except the entry-level US$999 model which stays at 800MHz and has a read-only CD-ROM. All iBooks now ship with an ATI Mobility Radeon 7500 video subsystem and 32MB DDR video memory, previous iBooks shipped with 16MB of VRAM. The iBook still ships with an original Airport (802.11b) card or slot and not the new Airport Extreme (802.11g) found in the PB12 and PB17.
