If you were waiting for the bug fix release before updating to iOS 18, iPadOS 18, or macOS Sequoia 15, now’s the time to find the “Software Update” button on your device.
Apple has released iOS 18.0.1, iPadOS 18.0.1, watchOS 11.0.1, visionOS 2.0.1, and macOS Sequoia 15.0.1 intending to address iPhone touchscreen issues and other bugs.
Ahead of the larger iOS 18.1 and iPadOS 18.1 updates, which are expected to introduce Apple Intelligence features in October, the updates are ostensibly focused solely on fixing a series of problems found by iPhone and iPad users. The most significant is a fix for how the initial iPadOS 18 bricked the M4 iPad Pro.
It’s unknown how many users were affected by this and why some devices were affected while others weren’t.
The macOS Sequoia 15.0.1 update has also been released as a bug fix and addresses issues associated with sharing Apple Watch faces and improves compatibility with third-party security software.
If you’ve had a chance to try these updates, please let us know about your experiences in the comments.

Since putting 18.01 on my iPhone 12 I have experienced a few problems. One is the screen doesn’t always respond to my touch. Another is when type on the keypad I get two or three letters and letters that I didn’t type.
