If you’ve been hankering to use Apple’s macOS Big Sur, iOS 14, or iPadOS 14 betas, but wanted to ensure that it was a little further along, you’re going to like this.
Apple on Thursday launched the macOS Big Sur, iOS 14, and iPadOS public betas. The betas had previously only been available for developers.
Users can sign up for the betas via the link below, and the upcoming operating system features an extensive redesign as well as a similar look to the design language for iOS.
Other new features include:
- Safari: Customizable start page, Privacy Report, extensions in the Mac App Store.
- Messages: Pinned conversations, inline replies for groups, group photos, mentions, new Memoji, faster search.
- Apple Maps: Guides, electric vehicle routing, indoor maps, cycling directions.
