Big Sur UI is honestly horrible in places. Too much white on white with light gray text?? Who on earth in design thought that was a great ideal? You either stuck trying something like Dark mode, or going into Accessibility options and turning on increase contrast maybe even turning off or reducing transparency. Yes and Big Sur has had plenty of functional issues as well even with their M1 Mac rollout which can only run Big Sur so your just out of luck if something doesn’t work. Wait for the next update to come out I guess. Intel Mac users did fare a bit better with less issues but honestly I don’t think Apple worked too hard optimizing Big Sur for Intel Mac’s. Many claim slow downs and longer boot times. A way to convince Intel Mac people to upgrade to a M1?? Conspiracy anyone? I pretty much use Windows 10 in BootCamp these days, so tired of Apple and their whims about saving a few bucks moving to their own chips. Great they perform well, bad they lock you completely into Apple’s ecosystem.
