It’s not an earth-shattering set of updates, but they’re handy and you might want to snag them for your devices.
Apple on Tuesday released iOS 17.6, iPadOS 17.6, and macOS Sonoma 14.6.
While there are no notable features in the updates, Apple cited unspecified bug and security fixes with the updates.
The updates can be located, downloaded, and installed by going to Settings > General > Software Update. Apple has also released iOS 15.8.3 and iOS 16.7.9 security updates for devices not able to run iOS 17 or iPadOS 17 as well as security updates for its macOS Ventura and macOS Monterey operating systems.
iOS 17.6 and iPadOS 17.6 will likely be some of the last updates that we’ll see to iOS 17 and iPadOS 17 aside from ongoing security fixes. Apple is set to release iOS 18 and iPadOS 18 in September alongside macOS Sequoia around that time frame.
If you’ve had a chance to install and try the updates, please let us know about your experience in the comments.
