If your printer doesn’t work, you tend to notice it.
On Thursday, Apple released its HP Printers Drivers 2.10 package. The update, a 473.3 megabyte download, adds updated drivers for assorted HP printers, scanners and multifunction devices.
The update requires an Intel-based Mac running Mac OS X 10.6 or later and can also be located, snagged and installed via Mac OS X’s Software Update feature.
If you’ve tried the new printer drivers and have any feedback, please let us know in the comments.

my printer does not print borderless since i did the upgrade =(
I’ve never been able to get my hp all in one printer to scan with any version of these drivers on Snow Leopard. I’ve deleted and reinstalled them several times, deleted preferences, deleted the default printer, but nothing seems to work.
It breaks things. People are reporting applications crashing when trying to print. It looks like the culprit is
hpPostScriptPDE.plugin so it might only be affecting printers using postscript. You can delete the file, move it, or copy in an older version.
