Apple seeded the fifth developer beta of its upcoming watchOS 6.2 update on Wednesday, with reports indicating that the forthcoming update will offer Apple Watch App Store support for in-app purchases, which will allow developers to create and sell Apple Watch apps that offer in-app purchase options and subscriptions.
Other changes, which were hinted at in the iOS 13.4 betas, indicate that iOS 6.2 will offer the “CarKey” feature, which allows users to use their device in lieu of a car key to unlock NFC-capable vehicles.
It’s unknown as to whether CarKey will be available wen watchOS 6.2 is released, although it’s clearly in development.
Stay tuned for additional details as they become available.
