It’s time to feel included.
Apple has opened its Safari Technology Preview to the public, allowing developers and non-developers alike to download the latest builds of the web browser for OS X and iOS. The Technology Preview includes the latest layout technologies, visual effects, and developer tools so you can provide input on how they are implemented and deliver a best-in-class user experience on all Apple devices.
The Technology Preview included advances in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS along with the most recent version of WebKit, the rendering engine that powers Safari.
Once downloaded the Safari Technology Preview updates every few weeks and include the most recent additions and improvements to WebKit. Users have access to developer tools and can use the latest version of the powerful Web Inspector and Responsive Design Mode to modify, debug, and optimize your websites.
Users can provide feedback with the Bug Reporter feature and the Safari Technology Preview runs side by side with the current version of Safari so you can use both versions and compare and contrast as needed.
If you’ve tried the Safari Technology Preview and have any feedback to offer, let us know in the comments.
