It’s officially “Back to the Future” Day.
And Siri has something to say about it.
Today, October 21st, 2015, is the date Marty McFly and Doc Brown traveled to in “Back to the Future Part II”, the movie depicting the future as featuring holograms, weather control, hover boards, flying cars and movie signs that would happily attack you.
Playing into this, Apple has programmed Siri with responses to the day. Simply activate Sir, say “Happy Back to the Future day” and enjoy the responses you get from her.
Apple occasionally updates Siri with cultural references to keep it entertaining. One of the earliest examples was 2001: A Space Odyssey, allowing people to quote lines spoken to HAL 9000.
Beyond that, enjoy Back to the Future day!!!
