Apple opens website to allow people to apply for in-person passes to WWDC 2025

If you’re looking to apply to attend Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference in person, there are some steps to follow.

As usual, developers will have to apply to take part in the in-person elements of the conference, complete with getting to attend the Keynote and Platforms State of the Union, meet with Apple experts one-on-one and in group labs, explore the campus, and take part in special activities.

People can apply by heading to Apple’s page for WWDC and clicking on the Apply Now button. Event pass requests will be accepted until 11:59 pm PT on Wednesday, April 2. Applicants will be notified by end-of-day on Thursday, April 3. Apple has also highlighted that special event passes are allocated by a random selection process and are non-transferable. WWDC 2025 will begin on June 9 and run until June 13. Selected applicants will be responsible for their own transportation and lodging.

Apple is currently only accepting applications from those who are currently taking part in the Apple Developer Program, Apple Developer Enterprise Program, and Swift Student Challenge winners from 2023 through 2025. Non-developers are more than welcome to watch the livestream from home, including the Keynote and Platforms State of the Union will happen on the first day, June 9.

Stay tuned for additional details as they become available.
