Apple’s apparently continuing to work to sort out bugs and possibly add new features for its Studio Display.
Following the new macOS 13.3 Ventura beta that surfaced last week, the company has provided a beta of new 16.4 firmware that’s designed for the Studio Display.
Apple’s Studio Display models are able to receive over-the-air firmware updates, but this firmware update is limited to Macs that are running the macOS Ventura 13.3 beta at the current time. Studio Display owners running macOS Ventura 13.3 can go to System Settings > Software Update to install the firmware.
Apple has yet to provide explicit details as to what fixes and changes are included in the upcoming firmware update.
Stay tuned for additional details as they become available.
