As is its custom, Apple will live stream its Worldwide Developers Conference 2018 keynote event.
On Tuesday, the company announced that its livestream will begin at 10 A.M. PST on June 4th. Apple has only confirmed web access to the stream, though other formats like Apple TV will likely be announced in the days leading up to the event.
Apple recommends viewing the event on an iOS device running iOS 10 or later, a Mac using Safari on macOS Sierra 10.12 or later, or a PC running Microsoft Edge in Windows 10.
During the keynote, company executives are expected to detail new iOS, macOS, tvOS and watchOS features. Following the kickoff at the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, developers will be able to take part in more than 100 learning sessions presented by Apple engineers, hands-on labs and special talks.
Apple is rumored to possibly launch new hardware at the keynote event, including a redesigned iPad Pro with TrueDepth camera and Face ID could be ripe for unveiling. It was at WWDC 2017 that the company revealed the current iPad Pro line.
Other rumors have suggested the release of a MacBook Pro refresh, an updated “iPhone SE 2” handset and low-cost HomePod.
Stay tuned for additional details as they become available.
