Apple announces virtual Apple Camp at Home summer sessions

Apple has announced that, in lieu of in-store sessions and as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, it will be holding a virtual version of its Apple Camp summer program for kids and parents.

The Apple Camp sessions function as a summer camp aimed at teaching children creative and technical skills on Apple products. Sessions are typically held at the company’s retail locations and are led by Apple Creative Pros.

Apple has also announced a new Apple Camp at Home endeavor, which will provide kids aged 8 to 12 a series of instructional activities and sessions focused on art and design, video and coding.

Live virtual sessions, which will last between 30 to 60 minutes, will be held on Webex. Apple is also offering a virtual activity book in the form of a Pages document that kids can complete at home.

The registration process for Apple Camp sessions for 2020 has yet to begin, but interested parents can sign up for notifications via the link below.
