Analyst: iPhone 14 series’ supply chain, mass production, and shipment schedules currently on track

Per noted Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, it seems as if the forthcoming iPhone 14 models aren’t facing impacts on the supply chain as both mass production and shipment schedules are currently on track.

Last week, the analyst reported that Apple would start iPhone 14 production simultaneously in India and China as Apple has warned its suppliers about a possible “revenge” by the Chinese government against the United States after the controversial visit of the US House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi to Taiwan.

Pelosi and others had held meetings with some of Apple’s suppliers, including chipmaker TSMC and Taiwanese assembler Pegatron. Since then, there have been reports as to China blocking shipments from these companies. Kuo has stated that these actions won’t impact iPhone 14 production or schedule.

Kuo also offered the following comments as to possible iPhone 14 delays due to component shortages as well as quality issues:

Although some investors have recently worried that the mass production and shipment schedule of the iPhone 14 models may be affected by geopolitics, my latest survey indicates that there are currently no impacts on the supply chain of the iPhone 14 models.

It’s currently thought that the iPhone 14 series will be the star of Apple’s September event. The iPhone 14 series, especially the Pro models, are expected to feature a new design, a better processor, and huge improvements on the camera’s side.

Stay tuned for additional details as they become available.
