Amazon announces Prime Now service for parts of Manhattan, offers 1-hour delivery service via bike messenger

If you’re in the heart of New York City and can’t get your Amazon order fast enough, this is for you.

Amazon has just announced a 1-hour delivery service in the form of Prime Now, exclusive to Prime members. The service currently limited to select areas of Manhattan and users can choose 1-hr delivery forUS $7.99 or select a 2-hr window for free.

The Amazon Prime Now app is available for iOS and offers bike messenger position tracking.

The app requires iOS 7.0 or later to install and run.
