If you like the Apple Music Classical service, you can now listen to it on the web.
The service, which launched in most countries in March 2023, allows users with a standard Apple Music subscription to stream more than five million classical music tracks at no additional cost. Apple Music Classical is based on Primephonic, a classical music streaming service that was acquired by Apple in 2021.
Apple is currently celebrating the service’s launch on the web via a new recording of Julius Eastman’s Symphony No. 2 and Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 2 from conductor Franz Welser-Möst and the Cleveland Orchestra, which will be available exclusively on Apple Music Classical for the next six weeks.
The Apple Music Classical service is currently available as an app for the iPhone, iPad, and Android and gained CarPlay support in 2024. There is currently no native Mac app.
For users interested in hearing the web version, go to classical.music.apple.com.
If you’ve had a chance to try the service, please let us know about your experience in the comments.
