Over at its Tuesday media event, Apple announced its updated Magic Keyboard, complete with the following improvements over the previous version:
- There’s a half-height function row to control quick settings like brightness, volume, and media controls.
- The trackpad is larger and has haptic feedback.
- The keyboard deck is aluminum.
Like the previous version, the new Magic Keyboard offers USB-C charging as well as a backlit keyboard. The unit retails for $349, and is only compatible with the new M4 iPad Pro.
Like its other product announcements for the media event, the new Magic Keyboard became available for pre-order yesterday and will be available for sale on Wednesday, May 18.
