Resident Evil Village to arrive for the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and Apple Silicon iPads, in October

Two of the best survival games ever created will be available for the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and Apple Silicon-based iPads come October.

Capcom has released pricing and availability details for the two Resident Evil titles that will run on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, which feature the new A17 Pro chip.

Both games will be free to demo and require an in-app purchase to fully unlock.

Resident Evil Village, which was released in May 2021, will be available for the iPhone and iPad on October 30. The game will require an iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, or iPad with an M1 chip or later to run.

Resident Evil Village will retail for $39.99 to unlock, and the new Winters’ Expansion content will be an additional $19.99. Both the game and the DLC pack are already available on Macs with M1 or later.

A single purchase of the game will also unlock access between the iPhone and iPad, complete with synced gameplay between devices. The macOS version, however, is a separate purchase, and gameplay does not sync to this version.

Resident Evil 4 was released in March, and Capcom hasn’t offered a hard release date for the iOS version. The studio says Resident Evil 4 will come to iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and every Mac and iPad with M1 or later starting this year.

Pricing for the game and its Separate Ways DLC has yet to be set, but Capcom has stated that Resident Evil 4 will be one purchase with cross-progression gameplay across iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

Resident Evil 4 is available for pre-order on the App Store. Resident Evil Village will be available to pre-order soon.

Stay tuned for additional details as they become available.
