You’ve been waiting for it and it’s here.
Microsoft launched its Office app for iPhone and iPhone on Tuesday. The suite combines Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as other new capabilities, and can be used without a Microsoft 365 subscription, albeit this will unlock the full app.
Other new features include functionality with device cameras, wherein snapping a picture can transform the image into an editable Word document, as well as being able to transform a picture of a table into an Excel spreadsheet so you can work with the data.
Users can also design a PowerPoint presentation by simply selecting the pictures you want to use from your device and create automatically enhanced digital images of whiteboards and documents with Microsoft Lens features.
Microsoft Office for iPhone and iPad is available for free and requires iOS or iPadOS 13.0 or later to install and run.
If you’ve tried the new suite and have any feedback, please let us know about your experience in the comments.
