You can’t argue with a hefty system update
Apple released iOS 13.7 and iPadOS 13.7 on Tuesday, complete with bug fixes and an express version of its Exposure Notifications feature, which is designed to make it easier for states to roll out their exposure notification systems without needing to build a separate app, something that has slowed the release of such apps.
Per the release notes:
Exposure Notifications Express provides another option for public health authorities to supplement their existing contact tracing operations with technology without compromising on the project’s core tenets of user privacy and security.
The full change log is as follows:
- New Memoji stickers
- iCloud Drive folder sharing in the Files app
- Various bug fixes and improvements
The update can be located, snagged, and installed as usual via Settings > General > Software Update.
If you’ve tried the new version and have any feedback to share, please let us know about your experience in the comments.
