Per the newest rumors and leaks, the Apple TV+ service will reportedly launch by November and be available for $9.99 per month after a free trial period.
According to “people familiar with the matter,” the $9.99 per month price point is intended to make the streaming service competitive with rivals, even if Disney+ is set to undercut it at $6.99 per month. It’s unknown how long the trial period will be and Apple has yet to confirm the details as of this writing.
Additional rumors have also surfaced claiming that Apple has committed $6 billion for original shows and movies for the Apple TV+ streaming service. This follows suit with Netflix, which is set to spend $15 billion this year. It is understood that Apple pays earlier on in the production process, giving creators their money at certain milestones.
Stay tuned for additional details as they become available.
