On Tuesday, Realmac Software announced the release of RapidWeaver 6, a major new upgrade to the company’s long-established and hugely-popular website creation app.
The new version includes more than a dozen major new features, is built exclusively for OS X Mavericks and OS X Yosemite, and a 64-bit app for the first time along with the following fixes and changes:
– Built for Mavericks and Yosemite, and 64-bit
– Redesigned user interface, including a Full Screen mode
– Supercharged Publishing (up to 3x faster)
– Five new user interface themes
– New Addons Manager
– Responsive Previews (presets for Desktop, iPhone, iPad. etc)
– New Markdown page type (this feature generates code for you in the background)
– Site-wide code support (HTML, CSS, Javascript)
– Hundreds of other features, fixes and workflow improvements.
RapidWeaver 6 is available today for US$89.99, exclusively from the Realmac Software store. Upgrades from any previous version of RapidWeaver are US$39.99.
RapidWeaver 6 is not currently available on the Mac App Store, but can be downloaded from here and requires OS X 10.9 or later to install and run.
