A recent addition to the Willow Designs line of PowerBook bags, is the Expandable Mac SlipCase for the 12-inch PowerBook G4. After two weeks of traveling, I have nothing but good things to say about this bag. Its compact profile and sturdy construction make it idea for negotiating crowds and public transportation situations.
The padded shoulder strap gives the bag extra stability to “stick ” on your shoulder. And the bag gracefully stays in position atop a wheeled suitcase – which is more than I can say for my other PowerBook bag. It is even compact enough that it could probably fit under the airplane seat in front of you with another bag.

One distinct feature that I really appreciated was the single click that holds the PowerBook in the front padded pocket section – easy to get out and put away, with only the PowerBook inside. Very simple for negotiating the security line and for taking out of the bag just to show off a slide show quickly and put it back in. In the front section is a square zippered section for accessories – I was even able to carry my digital camera and its accessories and feel secure.
The colored designs and reflective strip add some style and make it a bag that is also appropriate in a personal, as well as professional, capacity. It has on expandable velcro pocket where a magazine and itinerary would be stored, however, with the expandable capacity you could also add more. The small size of the bag reminds you that packing lighter is often better – on your back and your body! The small size should not be confused with safely – this bag is well padded and would be a long lasting carrying case for the PowerBook.
