Sony Ericsson ups the ante with an incoming P810 – Just when you thought it was safe to buy a P800!
The Sony Ericsson P800 is a hybrid PDA-like mobile phone. It has become a fairly popular device, with a built-in camera, basic PDA features built-in, and the slick Symbian OS.
Next up is the P810, with a 1.3 megapixel camera to take better pictures, and is wrapped in a thinner chassis that is metallic in appearance, much like the new Sony Ericsson T610.
Release dates are presently unknown, and little else is known about this handset. Photos are available from the team at Mobile.Burn, though!
As the P800 has Bluetooth, it should be present in the P810 also. I can’t fathom why SE would decide to remove it from the updated model of the P800, so with any luck this device will maintain it’s ability to be used with iSync over Bluetooth and act as an interface to GPRS networks. (Wouldn’t it be nice if this handset did EDGE, too?)
