Engadget is reporting that build 3150 of Parallels Desktop for Mac 2.5 has been released.
The newest build, a 38.5 megabyte download, adds full USB 2.0 support, full CD and DVD burn support within the virtual machine framework, true drag and drop functionality, a more streamlined interface and support for VMWare and Virtual PC disks within the program.

Engadget is reporting that build 3150 of Parallels Desktop for Mac 2.5 has been released.
The newest build, a 38.5 megabyte download, adds full USB 2.0 support, full CD and DVD burn support within the virtual machine framework, true drag and drop functionality, a more streamlined interface and support for VMWare and Virtual PC disks within the program.
Coherence has also seen improvements and users can now use the Dock menu as their Windows Start menu as well as use a Boot Camp partition as a virtual machine. For those interested, the extensive list of version changes can be found here.
Full DirectX support has yet to be completely implemented within this build and the update is free for users with U.S. serial numbers (international users will have to get by with the 30 day free trial).
Parallels retails for US$79.99 and requires an Intel-based Mac running Mac OS X 10.4 or later to run.
